Itinerary

  • Your adventure in Phnom Penh has started:

    • You will be welcomed at the airport then transferred to your arranged hotel for relaxation.

    After your flight, we'll help you settle in with city maps, essential information, and a currency exchange to start exploring Phnom Penh.

  • Phnom Penh – Oudong – Sampan on the Mekong

    Drive about 50 km from Phnom Penh to Oudong.

    • Oudong is the former capital of the Khmer kings from 1618 to 1866, where temple ruins still remain. The Hill of the 3 Stupas is a peaceful spot offering stunning views of the surrounding area.

    • Return to Phnom Penh for a stroll through the markets, followed by a sampan ride on the Mekong to enjoy the sunset.

  • Phnom Penh - Kampong Cham - KRATIE

    A 2–hour drive to take to Kampong Cham.

    • Visit the “Hill of Men” and the “Hill of Women,” featuring the Phnom Srey and Phnom Pros sanctuaries. This site witnessed numerous executions during the Khmer Rouge era.

    • Explore Vat Nokor, a pre–Angkorian Buddhist temple that houses a vibrant, modern pagoda.

    • On the way, stop at Skun, known for its large tarantulas. You can taste these giant, grilled spiders,

    • Discover Kampong Cham and its colonial architecture,

    • Then, cross the Mekong River and head towards the rubber plantations of Chup.

    • A visit to the rubber factory will explain the stages of rubber production.

    • Enjoy scenic views of rice fields on the rich, red fertile land along the route.

  • Discover Kratie, a small town near the Vietnamese border.

    • Visit the 19th–century Vihear Kork Pagoda and Wat Phnom Sambok, home to a serene Buddhist monastery.

    • In the afternoon, continue to Prek Kampi, a natural site along the Mekong River that serves as a sanctuary for the endangered Irrawaddy freshwater dolphins.

    • Take a small boat to cross the Mekong and explore the mangroves.

  • Transfer to Stung Treng, a bustling river port located at the junction of the Mekong River and the Sesan River.

    Enjoy a half–day trek of approximately 8 km along the Mekong River trail, passing through remote rural villages and scenic forest galleries.

    • Depart in the morning for Banlung, the capital of Ratanakiri province, also known as "the red city" due to the omnipresent laterite.

    • Transfer to the hotel.

    • Take a walking tour to the volcanic lake Yeak Lom, a beautiful spot surrounded by pristine rainforest.

    • Enjoy a short walk around the lake.

    • Morning visit to the local market.

    • Continue to Kachang Waterfall, located a few kilometers southwest of Banlung, with stops along the way to explore villages.

    • Enjoy a relaxing break and a chance to swim at the waterfall.

    • Drive toward Kratie, passing through the stunning landscapes of the Cambodian countryside.

    • Continue to Prek Kampi, a natural site along the Mekong River that serves as a sanctuary for the endangered Irrawaddy freshwater dolphins.

    • Take a small boat to cross the Mekong and explore the mangroves.

  • Departure for Kampong Thom, passing through Kampong Cham,

    • Visit the “Hill of Men” and the “Hill of Women,” featuring the Phnom Srey and Phnom Pros sanctuaries. This site witnessed numerous executions during the Khmer Rouge era.

    • Crossing rubber plantations, a visit to the rubber factory will explain the stages of rubber production.

    • Continue the journey toward Kampong Thom.

    • Discover the Sambor Prei Kuk temples of Chenla,

    • Explore the site built by King Ishanavarman during the 7th and 8th centuries,

  • Transfer to Siem Reap, passing by Tonle Sap Lake.

    Finding yourself surrounded by a completely aquatic landscape of Kampong Khleang Village,

    • Take a look at the local market, the pagoda, and the primary school.

    • Then, appreciate panoramic views of Asia’s biggest lake. Gap at the vast Tonle Sap Lake as you sail across it.

    • Tonle Sap has been listed as a World Natural Heritage Site since 1997.

    • Try your hand at fishing using local techniques!

  • Siem Reap – Angkor Thom – Ta Prohm – Angkor Watt – Apsara Dinner

    Arriving in Angkor Thom by tuk – tuk :

    • Visit the Victory Gate,
    • Visit the Bayon,

    • Visit the Royal Enclosure and its small temple, Phimeanakas.
    • Pass through the Terrace of the Elephants,
    • See the Terrace of the Leper King with its beautiful carvings of gods, nagas (semi – divine serpents), and dancers.
    • Discover the impressive Ta Prohm temple,
    • Visit the majestic Angkor Wat temple with exquisite bas – reliefs, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
    • Attend an outstanding Apsara dance show – dinner.
